Power in Blood?

Why was God so concerned about the Israelite’s handling of blood?  God’s instructions about it and severe consequences regarding the neglect of them seem obsolete now.  However, there is an interesting and significant parallel between them and the warnings regarding the Lords Supper (1 Cor. 11).  “Power in Blood?” examines the impact of Lev. 17 on New Covenant believers.
