A Charge to Preach

In the first part Paul’s final charge to Timothy (2 Tim. 4:1-5), he starts by driving home the seriousness of the job of the preacher along with some of the important aspects of it, including dealing with those who feel the need to develop their own theological ideas and practices in the church.  It’s a message not just for the preacher but for every person in the church.
