Giving to the Lord

Leviticus 27 is a fitting conclusion to the book, as it describes how people could give to God over and above the requirements of the covenant.  This “optional” activity is important, especially, to Christians who view giving under the New Covenant as optional.  Seen in the light of 2 Cor. 9, “Giving to the Lord” is much more than a requirement.  It is an opportunity for God to grow us!  Why would we neglect this?
