Living Faith or Dead?

If you’ve been in Christian circles very long, you know there is an ongoing debate/division over the issue of “security of the believer.”  This week’s passage in James contributes much to this.  Preaching through books of the Bible means, I am not at liberty to skip over the more challenging passages or topics.  However, working through these is both valuable and rewarding to me.  I pray as I present the results of my study, that it is as helpful to you as it is to me.  Regardless of how one interprets the potential loss or eternal security of salvation, one thing is clear from James:  dead faith is not faith at all, and it will never save a person.
