That You May Believe

As John moves his narrative along, he arrives at the account of Jesus’ crucifixion.  John offers a unique perspective on it further bolstering his assertions about Jesus’ identity.  John tells us that he did this “That You May Believe.”  The Christian today, as in the late first century when John first wrote, has good reason to reject accusations casting doubt on things foundational to the faith.
