The Seriousness of Rebellion (Part 1)

Leviticus 20 is a passage many Christians would like to skip over. Why would God call for putting to death the one who cursed his parents? (v. 9) Why such harsh punishment? The God of the Old Testament must be different than that of the New Testament, right? We will consider “the Seriousness of Rebellion (Part 1)” as we approach Lev. 20:1-9 in the first part of this passage and find out if/how this applies to Christians.
